Conditional Captcha – Technique to Make Your WordPress Blog Spam Free Posted: 20 Aug 2010 12:51 AM PDT In almost all blogs, even after using Akismet, there comes a problem where bots spam your blog daily, and its time consuming to block different/new IPs daily. That’s where this simple plugin comes in handy. What this plugin do is when Akismet marks any comment/IP as spam after your approval, this plugin adds a extra security layer to those specific IPs/Bots to pass a captcha before leaving a comment. Don’t be confused as this plugin won’t obtrude your normal commentators to pass through a captcha, but only to those whose comments have been marked as Spam by Akismet. This plugin is proved to make your blog almost Spam free. Also, many legitimate comments do get marked as spam by Akismet, so this plugin will help those comments not fall in spam section and gets approved automatically.
